About Mijas Pueblo.

The beautiful white village of Mijas stands on the foothills of the Sierra Mijas and only 7 kms from the sea and a 25 minute drive from Málaga airport.

It is one of probably the most photographed villages in the whole of Spain let alone the Costa del Sol. The village itself dates back to pre-roman times and is steeped in history, you only have to walk the cobbled streets and admire the remains of the Moorish fortress to understand why it is such a magical place.

Yet although it holds onto all its charm the Mijas of today has moved with the times, a regular 20 minute bus service takes you down to the coast. The magnificent town hall has a a wonderful tourist office which regularly hosts cultural and interest tours, and in the summer months not a weekend goes by where there is not a flamenco or Spanish guitar exhibition in the auditorium.

The area is surrounded by some of the best golf courses in the whole of Spain and the restaurants and little tapas bars in the village are second to none. Mijas is truly a magical place, come and experience it for yourself!.
